I guess I’m what you might call a veteran of the Godprint team. Having been a part of some of the very first years of the program (only missing two years), it is so exciting to see God’s plan for it unfold again and again. Missing out on last year helped me to realize just what it means to be a part of such a wonderful team and outreach. It is a privilege to be able to put into the lives of so many children in my own hometown. Each year I have felt great satisfaction at the end of the week, I guess it is a part of what living life with purpose means to me.
Even with all of this, my greatest satisfaction comes from knowing what Godprint has meant to my own children and seeing how their passion for it now has them devoted to coming back and volunteering their time and talents. I’ve leaned that giving of yourself for something as worthwhile as this camp is not only a blessing to others, but a way that we can reap tremendous blessing ourselves.
